Esther is a software engineer with over 4 years’ experience in mobile applications development. She started her career as a Software Development Intern, at iSys Software Kenya, a danish-based software firm. Her focus was on developing several interesting Android based projects and was part of the team that launched JamboJetter – The first ever mobile based game by a local airline in the country.
She later moved to Pristone Technologies Inc, a software start up based in Houston Tx, where she now works as a Software Engineer. At Pristone, she now focuses on mobile apps development for both the iOS and Android platforms as well as cross-platform development. She has completed several mobile application projects which cut across diverse industries such as Oil and Gas, Healthcare and E-commerce and is highly advanced in the following technologies – .NET. Framework, Swift, Java, C#, Objective-C, JSON, Azure, Bluemix as well as Agile Development Methodologies. Esther is now working with Dicova Africa group as an associate in the ICT4 Agricultural development unit. She is working closely with the Research and Innovation team to develop mobile app solutions for agriculture development.
